At Four Day Fireplace, we have over three decades of experience working with fireplaces. Here are the top wood fireplace units we recommend today.
The Best Traditional Wood Fireplace Options
Osburn Stratford II Wood Fireplace
The Osburn Stratford II Wood Fireplace is a beautiful, non-catalytic wood fireplace that performs very well and meets EPA admission standards. With a maximum heat output of 80,000 BTUs/hr, it can heat 750 to 2,200 square feet of space.
The giant 2.5 cubic foot firebox is easy to access through the double-cast iron doors. You can customize your Stratford II with either a traditional or modern faceplate, as well as a black or brushed nickel door overlay.
Osburn Everest II Wood Fireplace
We chose another Osburn fireplace, the Everest II Wood Fireplace, as a great option for efficiency and eco-friendliness. The maximum heat output of 85,000 BTUs/hr can heat up to 2,500 square feet of space.
With classic straight lines and your choice of faceplate and door overlay, the Everest II can fit into any interior style. You can add a firescreen door if you’d like to experience the warmth and crackle of the wood fire more fully.
Osburn Horizon Wood Fireplace
The Osburn Horizon Wood Fireplace offers a clean, simple, and energy-efficient design. The 4.28 cubic foot combustion chamber holds up to 60 lbs of wood, and the fireplace can heat large spaces up to 2,800 square feet for 11 hours. This fireplace can put out 95,000 BTUs/hr of clean heat.
The Horizon also complies with EPA clean-air standards. It uses a patented air control mechanism that optimizes the fire’s combustion quality.
