How to Qualify & What to Expect

Cascade Natural Gas offers a variety of rebates. There is a limit of one rebate allowed per household. Here are the 4 easy steps to earn the $400 rebate check! 

1. CNGC Account Verification – With your approval, Four Day Fireplace will verify eligibility. 
2. In-home consultation – You will be scheduled with one of our Project Managers for an in-home consultation to discuss project details. Order must be placed with a 50% deposit by June 20, 2023 to ensure installation by the CNGC required date. 
3. Installation – to be completed by July 15, 2023.
4. Submit for Rebate – Submit the Rebate Application & Trade Ally Coupon to Cascade Natural Gas. 

Common Questions

• How long does it take to receive the rebate check? 

• • Rebate application processing time is about 16 weeks. The rebate will arrive in the form of a check from “MDU.” To avoid the application from being rejected, ensure the name on the application matches that of the CNGC billing information. 

• I missed this offer. Is there any way to extend it? 

• • Great news! There is no set end date for the $300 Rebate Program. This is anticipated to expire mid 2024, or upon statute change(s). The Trade Ally coupon and venting offer do expire for orders not placed by June 20, 2023.

• What fireplaces qualify for the Rebate & Coupon program? 

• • The incentive and rebate are designed to help Cascade Natural Gas Customers upgrade to new, cleaner and more efficient gas fireplaces, inserts, or stoves.
  • Replacement equipment under this program must meet 70% EnerGuide FE (Fireplace Efficiency). Ratings are verified by Natural Resources Canada
  • At Four Day Fireplace, we carry multiple brands to select from with the professional installation to help you take advantage of both the incentive and rebate. Note that no wood stoves or inserts are allowed with this discount.
  • Our project managers will help you select the best qualifying option for your style, structure, and budget.
